Huh

I forgot I had this. And it's totally been more panic attacks than anything else, but we are still alive and mostly undamaged.

Sick

Soooo......first day I stay home that is a Monday, and I am sick as a dog. I'm sick Tuesday, I'm sick Wednesday...you see where this is headed. I'm still sick. And the girls are sick. And the husband is sick. And the doctor is so nice and says it's a virus, just stay in bed...there is nothing he can give us. We are still all sick. I think someone is trying to mess with me, lol.

First day...

So, stayed home today as a stay-at-home mom officially for the first time. God, I'm tired. There are so many things that we just didn't do day-to-day to take care of the house. Like put away laundry after it was washed so it didn't get full of dust and cat hair. I've been doing loads all day. I have a basket full of folded laundry next to me but I really don't want to carry it upstairs and put away. I know if I don't, though, it won't get done. And then I will have to wash it all again. For the 3rd time. Since moving here. Sigh. I cleaned the fan blades on 2 of the ceiling fans too.... And the stairs, and the french doors. And it doesn't look like I've done anything. In a month this place should look inhabited by better than savages, but I doubt it. I hate cleaning.

It's OVER!

T minus 2 and counting...

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!! My party for leaving was today and tomorrow no one will be in the office until the afternoon when IT comes to wipe my computer clean. I am almost to hyperventelation stage.

T minus 3 and counting...

Last three days of work...cleaned my desk, trained on payroll, took a loooong lunch, slacked the day away. So very very tempted to just call in the next two days except they are having a party for me tomorrow. Joy. I would duck out if I could. But hey, free pizza...I can't complain too much. The girls drove my husband nuts today, hee. The house is nice and clean though...I hear there was long naps and table sitting. I can't wait to be home.

T minus 5 and counting...

Today was my first trial run. I have today and tomorrow at home then I finish my final week at work. It was a pretty good day. I slept in (which I know I shouldn't) then got the girls downstairs for breakfast and cartoons. I had promised eggs, but hey...they are 2 and 1, cereal is heaven too. They watched way more tv than they should, but after we picked up the living room for an hour I wanted to enjoy it for at least 15 minutes. The kitchen on the other hand...well, I made a cake with the eldest and it looks it. She had a great time. Mommy is tired now though and my shoulder is killing me. I'm not used to carrying them up and down stairs all day.
